Escape To The Future

The past two weeks have been an insane roller coaster ride, to say the least. Worldwide, locally, and personally. Most of you can probably relate. As the crazy train rolled to a stop, and the restraints slowly rose, an interesting series of events occurred.

A synchronicity, that centers around a few people, and the swing of the proverbial pendulum. Some back story, however, is in order.

Side Note: I had gone to Wikipedia for a textbook definition of synchronicity. The page has picture of a man I recognized. It was Carl Jung and I thought it cool that I knew him. But then I recalled that I don’t know what David Plate looks like (keep reading). I’ve never met him or seen a picture of him. Usually you’ll visualize a person in your head when you think about them. If you’ve never met a person, then you’re on your own.

Anyway, as I Alt-Tabbed back to the editor, a new song starts playing. Control-V, link pasted into the editor. I then realize what I’m listening to. It is I Can’t See Your Face In My Mind from the album Strange Days by The Doors. It’s like a Triple Lindy synchro. David will appreciate it.

During the summer, I moved any focus I had directed at “space”, and pointed it towards the ground. I consider it a bandwidth upgrade. This was right around the time that Freeman came back from his mid-life walkabout with a new website and a few new shows. I’m not going to argue semantics over “podcasts” vs. “shows”. I use them interchangeably. In any case, I really dig new information from non-circuit people. Sometimes it can be refreshing. This time it was. The first episode released was a show called Metatron’s Reality Hour. I found this description for it on Stitcher: “Unfolding Deluge of Gnostic, Occult, and Conscious Raising Content!” Sounds cool, so I listened.

I was completely blown away by the topic, and more so, the energy and passion of the guest, David Charles Plate. The topic of the show was the Tree of Life and the Prediction of 9/11 in the Zohar Prophecies. Some of the things he was saying lined up perfectly with some research I had been doing, but in completely different (i.e. non-esoteric) areas. I was utterly fascinated. And I don’t say that often.

I subscribe to Freeman’s site, and the Zohar part of the discussion is in the member’s half of the show. I apologize for not being able to provide a free source link. The first half however, is free and here: Climbing the Tree of Life with David Charles Plate. But know that I’m not quoting anything from the show, it was the experience that was important. But I digress.

In complete internet nerd fashion, I sought out the incredible Mr. Plate and his personal web site, MKUltrasound723. It was filled with all this really cool information about art and sync films. I knew of them, but never paid them much attention. You may have even heard of Dark Side of the Rainbow, (sometimes called The Wizard of Floyd). It is one such sync film. Basically, some high-mind figured out that the video of the Wizard of Oz synced up perfectly with the audio of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. It totally does. It’s fucking weird.

Mr. Plate happens to be involved with an organization called The Sync Book. These guys all research/study synchronicity in the world, but more so in media. They are, for all intents and purpose, Synchromystics. Ones that seek connections between media, history, and the esoteric. That’s totally what I want to be when I grow up.

Plate makes sync films too. He debuted his latest, called Jack of Hearts, at the Olympia Sync Summit in August of 2016. There was apparently quite the synchronicity swarm surrounding that summit and the showing of that film. You’ll have to sit through 20-30 hours of podcasts to hear the entire story. It’s worth the listen IMHO. However, I want to stay on point. If synchromysticism interests you, check out the video linked at the bottom. Plate’s film, Jack of Hearts, is the video portion of a movie called Knight of Cups, and the audio provided by The Doors’ L.A. Woman album. It’s fantastic, I highly recommend watching it.

After I started listening to these podcasts, and understanding what they were saying, I started to experience my own synchronicities. One of them specifically involved David Plate of all people. This occurred from August through October-ish, abouts. I have it written down somewhere, it’s not important. The back story is over. Queue the twinkly music. Fade out.

At that point in time (late-October), the (s)election cage match was heating up. Shit is being slung by both sides. Trump tells Clinton, on stage, “You’d be in jail” (http://nyti.ms/2dQmSip). FBI reopens the investigation on the emails? That #PIZZAGATE thing drops? Then Trump beats the 99% favorite!! And the left goes apeshit and becomes violent? Totally surreal eh? Bizarro World for sure.

It feels like the tides have turned politically. But to me, it feels much different. I’m old enough and seen enough elections to recognize the patterns. We always elect the guy who is the exact opposite of the last guy. Meaning we always get the Bizarro president!

Think about it. Clinton/Gore was the exact opposite of Bush/Quayle. Bush/Cheney was the exact opposite of Clinton/Gore. Obama/Biden is the exact opposite of Bush/Cheney. By that measure, this time we’ll get the exact opposite of Obama/Biden. That, apparently, was not Clinton/Kaine.

This is something I noticed (what I referred to as the “Bizarro” aspect) but didn’t flesh out like above. It was really something that the group on Always Record #167 – Triumph of the Ill were talking about that did it for me. I had been listening in my car while running errands yesterday. They were discussing election thoughts, etc. It’s over two hours long so I’d hear it in chunks. 30 minutes here, 30 minutes there. I was about two hours through it when I got home.

Later in the evening, I was talking to my friend of mine. We were dissecting the last two weeks, talking about this thing, the bizarro election, the proverbial pendulum swing and what is the exact opposite of Obama/Biden. This had spawned from a prior discussion about this year and whether it actually represented “completion” of some sort, and what did that entail.

I then had this interesting thought and wrote it down. When I said talking there, I meant chatting in a Hangout. It was far easier to send a picture my scribbling then to type it all out. The gist was this: if this year, 2016, is truly the “end of a cycle”, “a completion year”, then some of these cycles are completing, but some are being broken. The analogy here is the political parties. Usually, they swing back and forth. Each time, usually, the exact opposite political party is selected. When this happens, the pendulum swings back the other way. We, the populace, hope that it swings far enough to have the momentum for a full return trip. This cycle, I think, we saw something completely different. So I tweeted the thought into the aether for safe keeping:

I have found a few of these cycle-breakers so far. The Dakota pipeline debacle is one potential. The election is the most significant, I think. Especially Florida. In 2000 we had the whole Bush v Gore horrorshow. It probably wasn’t supposed to go that way. In a completion year, significant events essentially get a mulligan of sorts. This election was Florida’s mulligan for 2000. However, what we saw was neither justice, nor the same old same old. It was something else. It was a pendulum flying off the handle. This is the idea I had written down and sent to my friend and tweeted.

Essentially what I was getting at was that in 2000 it was Bush v Gore. Bush stole the election, which probably shouldn’t have happened. This time around was payback. It was supposed to be Clinton v Bush. But the entire GOP field was wiped clean by (the) Trump (card), breaking the cycle. Well, at least until Chelsea decides to get into politics.

Had it been Clinton v Bush, Clinton would have won handily and as such, complete the cycle. That probably would not have been a pleasant timeline. But, Trump won. He took Bush and Florida completely out of the play. You know, when your Ace gets trumped in Spades? It sucks, don’t it? Mr. Trump neutralized the King and Queen of “trump” with his Ace.

We were mulling this over, looking at it from different angles and I realized I needed to be somewhere by 9pm and it was 8:30pm. I got my gear and went to my car. I have my phone connected via Bluetooth and it all starts up automatically when I turn the car on. If I left off at a certain point, it restarts a few seconds before that point. As I backed out of the driveway, the last 30 minutes or so of the Always Record #167 started to play (right where I had left off six hours earlier), and this is what I heard (press “Play” now, stop after KayPax finishes talking):

Shameless Side Note: The time that the podcast restarted was 1:59:30, which, I might add, numerologically is nine: 1 + 5 + 9 + 3 + 0  = 1 + 8 = 9.

Nine represents spiritual awakening, connecting dots, and personal growth, among other things. Apropos, I would say.

Therefore, I put it to you, have we, humanity, gotten back in line to ride the crazy train again? Or have we broken out of this rut? I choose the latter. This will allow us to escape the past, and move into the future. Finally!
